Walked into True Black with a headache.
Not from stress, just showed up late to caffeine.

But 10 mins in, something started clicking.

Big-ass windows. Urban view. Builders in flow.
Quiet hum. High ceilings. Solid vibe.

My brain lit up.
It’s not even the coffee, it’s the environment.

Where you work changes how you show up.

I’ve been working from home all year.
Got shit done, sure.
But the energy? Meh. Dull. Predictable.

Lately, I’ve been thinking of doing a builder’s retreat in the mountains.
But then I was like, have I even said hi to my own city?

So this is me… experimenting.

I’m not escaping.
I’m exploring.

Hitting cafés. New corners. Watching people build beside me.
Same work. New space. Different energy.

Today isn’t some romantic reset.
I’m not “finding myself.”

I’m just here to build.
5 hours. No distractions. No scroll. Just cook.

This café’s not the mountain.
But maybe it’s the path to it.
