Fake Engagement Gets You Fake Growth
In the last few days, I made just 3–4 replies.
No thread. No CTA. No hack.
Just showed up on posts that actually meant something to me.
Said what I genuinely felt.
Here’s what happened:
10K+ impressions across those replies
15–20 followers
And a couple of the post owners replied too.
No random replies under mid content.
Just value, where I already find value.
That’s the difference.
I’ve done the fake engagement dance before.
Commented on people who don’t care.
Followed the “engage all day” advice from creators who want you in their replies.
Nothing came from it.
Here’s what actually works:
If you chase mid content, you’ll get mid results.
But when you show up with real thoughts on content that actually hits,
people notice.
You start thinking sharper.
You attract better.
You stop chasing and start pulling.
You don’t need people who comment on your post so that you’ll return the favor.
You need people who are in it and want to build something with you.
That’s when the game changes.
That’s when real growth happens.
here are a couple of replies that worked:
→ [Reply 1]- On Dan Koe’s post
→ [Reply 2] - On Dan Go’s post
Just showing what happens when you actually show up with intent.
I’m building Mindsemble in public:
A space for sharp builders, honest creators, and long-game thinkers.
Come be part of it.
And if you're a creator sitting on an idea but don't know how to turn it into something real, I can help you build, position, and launch a sellable product.
I’ve done this before, doing it now, and I can do it for you as well.
Let's get to work.
