Move when you're stuck

If you’re wondering,

what this crackhead is blabbering,
Yes, I’ll say it again:

MOVE when you’re STUCK.

So I’ve changed my routine a bit,
I moved my workouts to the morning from the evenings.

Why did I do it?

I usually do yoga in the morning, but all of a sudden, I stopped.
I’m not even sure what happened.

This entire month, I rolled without my morning practice, and that kinda messed with my day.

Just 3 days into missing it, I started waking up late (7 AM).
That spiraled into sleeping late, feeling foggy, drained, and off rhythm.

I struggled to get work done this month.
Felt like I was using more energy than usual just to show up.

Until mid-May, it was all foggy in my head,
even my writing blocks (which usually flow in the morning) felt off.

That’s when I realized how important my morning practice was.

So I had to make a change.

The best move I could think of?
Switch my workouts to the morning.

___

But why not just restart yoga?
That’s what I kept asking myself.

For two weeks, I kept thinking, “I should get back to it.”

But I didn’t. It wasn’t working.

So I broke the loop with action.

Moved workouts to the morning instead. That cracked it.

Now I’ve got leverage and more options:

  • Once the routine kicks in, I can:
→ Stick to this and do yoga later in the day
→ Or switch it up again - move workouts to evenings and bring yoga back to mornings

It’s been 4 days since I made the shift, and I think I broke the loop.

How?
Movement.

So yeah, that’s the note:

When you’re stuck, move.

Until Tomorrow,
Chay
